Imagine a session at your favorite spot. Your buddies are on the boat and you’re gliding across smooth glass. as you cut in, you spot your take off. The wake is huge with a thick lip. this monster is going to launch you! But that’s the way it should be. You need to go higher and farther to land that new trick. Epic is designed to get you there.

In Epic’s single minded goal of creating an Epic wake, how can they offer anything less than the biggest, baddest, fullest capacity ballast available in any boat on the market today? At a whopping 3600 pounds, no other boat even comes close to the Epic 23V. So toss the fat sacks and ditch the lead weights.

A stronger hull that uses less resin to create? They’re doing exactly that with Resin Infused Composite Construction. In this unique process, a top grade resin is infused into a fiberglass and foam sandwich under tremendous amounts of pressure – almost 10,000 pounds. This creates a hull that is many times stronger than a traditional hand laid boat and one that is dramatically lighter. in fact, the weight of the Epic 23V with the Mercruiser 5.7 liter engine is a mere 3,900 pounds. This means a much more nimble boat in the water and big savings at the pump when towing an Epic.

“D.R.O.P. ZONE” WAKE-ENHANCING HULL TECHNOLOGY. Epic does not have a history in water skiing, and that works in their favor. Instead of a modified ski hull, the Epic hull was created from scratch and specifically engineered to create an Epic wake. Like an airplane wing lifts an aircraft, their “D.R.O.P. Zone” hull is designed to pull the boat deeper into the water, which displaces more water for a superior wake in both shape and size. This also aids in tracking and handling to give the driver a greater feel of control over the boat.
